WALNUT HILL AUCTIONS HOW TO BID ONLINE Bidding is easy from your phone, tablet, or computer. START HERE:  BID.WALNUTHILLAUCTIONS.COM   1  CREATE AN ACCOUNT Select Sign In or Create Account. Enter your name and email address, then create a password. Each bidder needs a unique email address. 2  CHOOSE THE AUCTION Find the sale you want and select View Auction. Browse the catalog, photos, descriptions, dates, and pickup information. 3  REGISTER FOR THAT SALE Select Register. Confirm your contact information, accept the privacy policy and auction terms, and complete card verification if requested. 4  PLACE YOUR BID Open a lot and select the bid button to bid the next required increment. Review the amount carefully, then confirm your bid. 5  USE A MAX BID IF YOU LIKE Choose Set Max Bid and enter the most you are willing to pay. The system bids for you only as needed, in set increments, up to your limit. 6  WATCH THE CLOSING Check your bids as the auction closes. If a bid is placed near the end, that lot may extend. A lot is not won until it shows as closed. GOOD TO KNOW • You are outbid? Bid again or increase your maximum bid. Turn on email or app notifications so you do not miss an update. • Bid shows Pending Approval? Your registration is awaiting review. You cannot bid until it is approved; contact Walnut Hill Auctions if you need help. • Won an item? Watch for your invoice and follow the sale-specific payment, pickup, or shipping instructions. • Before bidding: Read the full terms for buyer’s premium, sales tax, payment methods, pickup, shipping, and item condition.
