#22 • Workboat Mast Truck

Part of Bill Hight Collector’s Auction (timed auction by Walnut Hill Auctions)

High bid $16.00

Status: Sold

Wooden workboat truck, the decorative wooden ball on top is a traditional workboat’s mast, acting as a cap to cover the exposed end-grain of the wooden mast. This would prevent water from seeping into the timber and causing rot.
